There is a great difference between being a nice person and that of being a good person. The former is of a passive nature and lacks any real virtue, while the latter seeks to do good and make a difference in the lives of those around him or her. The concept of everyone being nice lacks any real value in correlation with reality. And yet when we strive to do good to all, we are adding value to the fabric of social order itself. It is good to be nice, but it is noble to be good and act upon that goodness.
