These are the times we are currently inhabiting; times of chaos and that of lawlessness. A time where people are possessed by radically corrupted ideologies rather than the truth. A time when people seek out stimulation rather than knowledge and wisdom. A time when the facts only matter when it fits the narrative of your radicalized ideological framework rather than what correlates with reality itself. A time when when evil is seen as good, and good as evil.
These are the times in which lawlessness abounds and the desire for freedom to sin is paramount. For Chistians, though, this is a time to stand boldly before the opposition and contend with the chaos in hopes to produce proper order, not according to one’s own ideal, but rather to that which best fits the narrative of reality itself.
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV
